STARCLIP ("the App") is a camera application developed by Starclip.app ("we", "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.

Data Collection

STARCLIP does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. The App operates entirely on your device.

• No user accounts or registration required
• No analytics or tracking SDKs
• No advertising
• No data shared with third parties

Device Permissions

The App requests the following device permissions, which are used solely for the described purposes:

• Camera — To capture photos and record videos
• Microphone — To record audio during video capture
• Photo Library (Add Only) — To save captured photos and videos to your device

These permissions can be revoked at any time in your device's Settings.

On-Device Data

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

• Video highlight timestamps — Saved as a JSON file in the app's local storage for displaying highlight history
• Temporary video files — Used during recording, automatically managed by the system

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

Clipboard

When you mark highlights during video recording, the App copies timestamp data to your device's clipboard in YouTube chapter format. This is a user-initiated action and the data stays on your device.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children. The App contains no features that target children specifically.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
