Q: The camera preview is black.
A: Make sure you have granted camera permission in Settings > STARCLIP > Camera. If the issue persists, try restarting the app.

Q: How do I use the highlight feature?
A: Switch to Video mode, start recording, then tap the star button whenever you want to mark a moment. When you stop recording, the timestamps are automatically copied to your clipboard in YouTube chapter format.

Q: Where are my photos and videos saved?
A: All photos and videos are saved directly to your device's Photo Library. Make sure photo library permission is granted in Settings.

Q: How does Silent mode work?
A: Silent mode captures a frame from the live video stream instead of using the standard photo capture pipeline, which eliminates the shutter sound entirely.

Q: Does STARCLIP collect my data?
A: No. STARCLIP operates entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
